Privacy Policy
This policy describes exactly what data aiinframap collects, why, who processes it on our behalf, and the choices you have. It is written to our actual implementation — not generic boilerplate.

1. Scope
aiinframap is a research and analysis website covering the AI infrastructure stack. This policy covers the public website and its newsletter and downloadable briefs. We collect as little personal data as possible: in normal use, the only personal data we receive is an email address you choose to give us.
2. What we collect
Newsletter subscription
If you subscribe, we store your email address, the source of the signup (e.g. which page or widget it came from), and the timestamp. This is stored in our database and forwarded to our email service provider so we can send the newsletter.
Downloadable briefs (lead magnets)
If you request a PDF brief by email, we store your email address, the requested topic, and (for comparison briefs) a company reference, so we can email you the link. The emailed link contains a signed token used only to attribute opens to that request; the underlying PDF is also publicly available without giving an email — providing an address is a convenience, not a gate.
Abuse prevention
To rate-limit the subscription and download forms, your IP address is held transiently in server memory for up to one hour. It is not written to our database and not used to profile you.
Aggregate usage analytics
We read aggregate page metrics (page path, session counts, average dwell time) from Google Analytics on the server side to help us decide which topics to prioritize. We do not place an analytics pixel, tag, or tracking script on public pages.
What we do not collect
- No accounts, passwords, or payment data on the public site.
- No advertising or third-party tracking cookies, pixels, or fingerprinting on public pages.
- No browser
localStorage/sessionStoragetracking on public pages. - No selling, renting, or trading of personal data — ever.
- No persisted IP addresses or device identifiers.
3. How we use it
Email addresses are used solely to send the newsletter or the specific brief you asked for, and operational replies related to them. Aggregate analytics are used only to prioritize editorial coverage. We do not use your data for advertising or automated decisions that affect you.
4. Processors we share with
We rely on a small number of service providers, only as needed to run the above:
- Supabase — hosted database storing subscriber/download records.
- Resend and/or Beehiiv — email delivery for the newsletter and brief links.
- Google Analytics — server-side aggregate metrics only (no public-page tag).
- Vercel — website hosting and content delivery.
Each provider processes data only to deliver its function. We do not authorize them to use your data for their own purposes.
5. Cookies
Public pages set no cookies. A single authentication cookie exists only for internal administrators on private engine routes; it is never set for ordinary visitors and is not used for tracking.
6. Retention
We keep newsletter and download records for as long as you remain subscribed or until you ask us to delete them. Rate-limit IP data expires from memory within an hour. Aggregate analytics contain no personal identifiers.
7. Your choices and rights
- Unsubscribe at any time via the link in any newsletter email.
- Access or deletion: request a copy or removal of the email-linked data we hold about you.
- You can use the site fully without giving any personal data.
To exercise any of these, contact us (Section 9). We act on verified requests within a reasonable period.
8. Children
The site is intended for professionals and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their data.
9. Changes & contact
We will update this page and its “Last updated” date if our practices change materially. For privacy questions or to exercise your rights, contact privacy@aiinframap.com.
