Opportunity: Wafer-scale is the only credible non-NVIDIA training architecture that has survived from 2020 to 2026. The hard part has moved from silicon to SI/PI + thermal at the substrate, which is exactly what they're hiring for.

Niche but durable — single-vendor category, but the principal-level hire on SI/PI shows the bottleneck has shifted from logic to power/thermal/substrate. Watch for whether Cerebras gets a Colossus-equivalent named-customer deal.
