AI Back-End Ethernet Fabric (RoCEv2 / SuperNIC, GPU-cluster scale-out) — datacenter switching + NIC

Companies committing: enfabrica, arista-networks, cisco-systems, juniper-networks, meta-platforms, cornelis-networks.

Opportunity: All three Big Three switch vendors + Meta + Enfabrica converge on 'lossless Ethernet for GPU back-end' as the explicit InfiniBand alternative. Cornelis re-runs the Omni-Path play for the holdouts.

Three of the largest networking vendors have PM (not just engineer) roles dedicated to the AI fabric SKU, which means it's a separately-rev'd product line. Enfabrica's SuperNIC is the new entrant. The fabric category has graduated from 'IB vs Eth debate' into a budgeted segment.
